The Palm Beach County League of Cities Announces “Educate on 3” Task Force and Partnership with the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County, FL —  October 2, 2026 — The Palm Beach County League of Cities is pleased to announce the launch of its “Educate on 3” Task Force. It is a community-focused initiative to educate voters on the fundamental changes to Florida’s property tax structure under Amendment 3, including the relationship between local property taxes and services provided.
The “Educate on 3” Task Force will focus on three key areas:

  • Educate: Provide residents with accessible, factual information about property taxes, Amendment 3 and the Taxation and Budget Reform Commission
  • Engage: Create opportunities for residents to ask questions, participate in discussions, and connect with community leaders.
  • Empower: Provide voters with the tools and resources they need to make their own decisions.

The Palm Beach County League of Cities is also partnering with an associate member, the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County, to host a series of educational panels that will bring together community leaders, subject-matter experts, and residents to provide information and encourage informed voter participation.

“We’re excited to launch the ‘Educate on 3’ Task Force in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County,” said JohnPaul O’Connor, President of the Palm Beach County League of Cities. “Amendment 3 deserves a thoughtful, informed conversation. Our goal is to share reliable information about its potential impacts and give residents and local leaders opportunities to ask questions, hear different perspectives, and engage in constructive dialogue.”
