October Meeting Recap 2014

We thank the City of Lake Worth for hosting us at the Lake Worth Beach & Casino Complex.

Board Meeting The Board approved Arthur R. Marshall Foundation and A.D.A. Engineering, Inc. assocaite member applications.

The Board heard from Executive Director Glen Jergensen of the Tourist Development Council and voted "no objection" to the council's .6 cent request.

The Board received a committee update from the ITE Committee Chair, Commissioner Lisa Tropepe.

League Counsel Trela White updated us on pertinent legal issues (for full report go to our News:Meeting Notes page).

Executive Director Richard Radcliffe reminded the board of the Tri-Cities BBQ on December 5th in Belle Glade and the Legislative Delegation Roundtable on December 17th at the Atlantis Country Club.

General Membership 

At the General Membership Meeting the membership heard from attorney Susan Trevarthen on "Marijuana: What Does It Mean For Your City". Click Here for the copy of the handout that was presented.
