January Meeting Recap 2017

We thank the Town of Jupiter for hosting the League meetings at their wonderful community center. 

Board Meeting The board approved the associate membership applications for The Merchant Strategy, My PR Guru and Everglade Trust.

The Board voted to recommend 2nd VP Commissioner Keith James to be on the Florida League of Cities nominating committee.

The Board also heard committee reports from the following committees: Education, Legislative, Finance and Transportation. 

Executive Director Richard Radcliffe informed the board of the success of the Tri-Cities Barbeque and Palm Beach County Days. 


General Membership Jupiter Mayor, Todd Wodraska welcomed the membership to its Community Center.

The guest speakers were Executive Director Mike Busha, Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council and Ernie Marks, South FL Water Management District Director of Everglades Policy and Coordination on "What Policy Makers Should Know about Lake Okeechobee".

League Counsel Jennifer Gardner Ashton updated us on pertinent legal issues (for full report go to our News:Meeting Notes page).

Next month's meeting will be held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.
