January Meeting Recap 2014

We thank the City of Boca Raton and FAU for hosting the League meetings at the FAU Stadium.

Board Meeting The Board approved Political Consulting.com, Elizabeth Cayson and Becker & Poliakoff's assocaite member applications.

The board voted no objection to the County's Water Taxi Ordinance and the Criminal Justice Commission Ordinance.

The board approved the League's Legislative Priorities and Issues, which can be found on the "Legislative Issues" page of our website.

The board also approved the recommendation of West Palm Beach Commission Ike Robinson to the Florida League of Cities Nominating Committee.

General Membership Boca Raton Mayor Susan Whelchel welcomed the membership to Boca Raton and the FAU Stadium.

Our featured speaker was Congresswoman Lois Frankel. Senator Bill Nelson also dropped by to address the membership.
