January Meeting Recap 2018

We thank the Village of Wellington and the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.

Board Meeting The board approved the associate membership applications for the United Way of Palm Beach, PGAL, Inc., and Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce.

The Board voted to recommend District 2 Representatives, Vice Mayor Patti Waller, to be on the Florida League of Cities nominating committee.

The Board also heard committee reports from the following committees: ITE and Transportation. 

Executive Director Richard Radcliffe reminded the board about FLC Legislative Days and the CRC Alerts.


General Membership Wellington Mayor, Ann Gerwig welcomed the membership to the Equestrian Center.

The guest speaker was Executive Director Michael DeBock of the Economic Council of Palm Beach who spoke about the Leadership Paradigm.

League Counsel Jennifer Gardner Ashton updated us on pertinent legal issues (for full report go to our News:Meeting Notes page).

Next month's meeting will be held at the Palm Beach State College Loxahatchee Groves Campus.
